I could not have picked a better team to be a part of. Every player on our roster embraced their individual roles and did whatever was asked of them to help insure our victory. So many players picked up their game in the playoffs when we lost guys to emergencies, injuries, and illness. Seth, you got us here and through the first round. Without you we would have been spectators in the post season. You are our Cy Young and MVP! John and Hank picked up the slack when you were unavailable in the championship round and brought home the victory. Must win = JB. Hank your championship clinching complete game capped a stealer season by the best staff in the league. Tony Bulleri, you the man! You did anything and everything that we asked. At times it seemed like you were playing more than one position at the same time. 7 consecutive K’s for the save in game 1 against the best O in the league! Throwing out the league’s best base stealer by three steps (got to give some credit to JB on that one, he’s so quick to the plate) Amazing. Joe Vitali, thank you for getting that hit off Greg Scharich in the 8th inning of game 2 of the first round to break up the no hitter. And it was an inside the park homerun no less! That hit very well may have turned the momentum back in our favor even though we lost the game. John Holmes, all that training paid off. You picked up your game for the playoffs just as we had hoped, 7H, 5R, and 4SB in 5 post season games! Steve R., you’re where rallies go to die. It’s unbelievable how many double plays you turned in the post season. Your defense was just as critical as the pitching efforts we received from our big 4. Eddie Baker all your support throughout the season has been incredible. And what about that double off Hendrickson in game one of the first round. Man I’d love to get a hold of one like that off that guy. Colby, you were there when we needed you most, eating up innings behind the plate and taking one ball after another off your noggin. And in the end... “They only remember how you finish” 2-4 baby! Steve H. Man that was one hell of a home run! You sucked it up in the playoffs, played through your injury and were one scary bat off the bench. Doug, even though you’re not on the roster, you proved that you’re a part of this team with your support all season long. K-Lew, Your constant challenge to mine and Tony’s strategies only made us more balanced and stronger on the field. Your leadership throughout the season inspired all of us to play at higher level than imaginable. Most of all your support and coaching was what made this season such a success. And finally to my wife and all the rest of the girls...Your support was what mattered most to all of us. Each of you sitting through three hours while we ran around in circles all season long is more than any of us should expect. In the end it’s each of you that each of us counts on most to help make our season the best. You’re there after the game to nurse us through our injuries and to listen every week to our constant reflection of every single play in every game. Once again you’ve proven to be the best women in the REBL! Minna, your encouragement every year is cherished. I love you and thank you for being there when I needed you most, especially for rides to the ER! Thank you to all the Titans and Fans (Cremidis’, Old Man Hillman, Fuselier’s, Caillat’s, Bulleri’s, Lewis’, #1Fred, little T. Vitlai and K. Lewis) for making this my most memorable season!
